Recommendation and Proposed Motion

Recommendation:  Staff recommends City Council certification of the amendments to the Sierra Senior Care PUD Design Guidelines.

Summary:  In accordance with NRS 278A, the amended Design Guidelines for the Sierra Senior Care Planned Unit Development (PUD) are before Council for certification.  Per NRS 278A.570, a plan which has been given final approval by the City must be certified without delay and recorded before any development occurs consistent with that plan.  The amended guidelines have been reviewed and approved by staff as to their conformance with the PUD amendments tentatively approved by City Council on September 27, 2017.  The property is located in the area bounded by Mountain View Drive to the north and Beck Street to the south in the PUD zone. The site has Master Plan land use designations of Mixed Residential (3-21 units/acre) and Urban Residential/Commercial and consists of ±5.09 acres.  Staff recommends City Council certification of the amended guidelines.

 

Each Council Member has received a digital copy of the Planned Unit Development Handbook. A paper copy of this Handbook is on file at the City Clerk’s front counter.

 

Previous Council Action:

 

September 27, 2017              City Council approved the amendments to PUD on the ±5.09 acre site.
